The Grumman F6F Hellcat was one of the main carrier based fighters fielded by the United States Navy during World War 2 and is credited with destroying 5,223 enemy aircraft. Dynam has once again created an accurate true to scale model of this fearsome warbird and even comes complete with the rotating retractable landing gears. The Dynam F6F Hellcat is instantly recognisable with its large stubby fuselage, squared off wingtips and Tri-tone navy paint scheme. The real F6F hellcat was favoured for its easy flying characteristics and the Dynam model is the same. The Hellcat is very forgiving to fly and its low speed handling characteristics are superb.
